Laura believes that there is always an opportunity for someone to have a first time experience or accomplish a new skill. Her intention as a yoga teacher is to create a lighthearted environment for students to tune inward, harness focus, and explore possibilities within themselves.
Laura’s yoga practice is inspired by her gymnastics practice. She has been practicing gymnastics regularly since 2008. Within the gymnastics gym is where she discovered Acro Yoga, which eventually led her to a traditional yoga practice. In this light, Laura sees yoga as a great opportunity for adults to tap into a childlike mindset of adventure and fun.
Her passion is to take students to the edge of their challenge in a playful and approachable manner that meets them at their level of ability. She also believes in the potency of yoga to maintain focus and clarity through life’s challenges off of the mat.
